This part of the site is designed to give an insight into the Working and Domestic conditions of the Boatmen who shipped goods around the Country on the Canal System, It also has information on the families that worked these boats and the Companies they worked for.

 I am indebted to all those who have given willingly to this project, for without their help there would not be anything to show.
